50 T-Rex Box Traps installed in the Whakarewarewa Forest

Sunday morning crew eager and ready ... and hungry for chocolate bait apparently.

After making nearly 300 trap boxes we installed 50 along Tuhoutu Ariki and Tihi O Tawa trails. This almost completes stage 1 of the project, combined with over 80 A24, A12 and AT220 traps provides a coverage area of around 500 x 600m.
